Artificial Intelligence or God’s Joke?<\/span><\/h1>\n

“And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him\u2026”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

No. Not like that. A remark of actualization is required!<\/span><\/p>\n

“And man imagined himself to be GOD\u2026 And in his own image, after the likeness of Man \u2014 he created Artificial Intelligence\u2026”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

With all the ensuing consequences!<\/span><\/p>\n

We may think as we wish, create any abstractions of thought, decide as we wish, do as we wish \u2014 here we have a choice!<\/span>
\nBUT the consequences \u2014 we do not choose. We receive them!<\/span><\/p>\n

“God will render to every man according to his deeds.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

And here there are no options!<\/span><\/p>\n

And all without exception will receive their CONSEQUENCES!<\/span><\/p>\n

Two Sides of the Coin<\/span><\/h2>\n

So it is with Artificial Intelligence \u2014 there are two sides to the coin.<\/span><\/p>\n

And as I see it, AI is an abstract environment of mirrors, with all the ensuing consequences.<\/span><\/p>\n

They reflect us.<\/span><\/p>\n

In each of us lives a multitude of different Pictures of the World. And by communicating with AI, we reflect them in it.<\/span>
\nThat is, in AI a multitude of our models of “different descriptions of the world” will be reflected \u2014 an analog of “The Chronicles of Amber” \u2014 and the main thing is not to get lost in this.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lyrical digression. “The Chronicles of Amber” and the Many-Worlds<\/span><\/p>\n

“The Chronicles of Amber” is a philosophical-fantasy cycle by Roger Zelazny about a world where there exists a single true reality \u2014 Amber \u2014 and all other worlds, including our Earth, are merely its Shadows (or Reflections).<\/span><\/p>\n

This is precisely the Many-Worlds \u2014 an infinite multitude of parallel realities, each of which is a distorted reflection of Amber. The princes and princesses of Amber, possessing royal blood, can travel through these countless Shadows, changing them at will, fighting for power, and trying to unravel the mysteries of their father, King Oberon.<\/span><\/p>\n

The central artifact and source of Amber’s power (and of the First Shadow of Amber \u2014 Undersea Amber) is the Pattern (the Labyrinth), which grants to the one who has passed through it power over the Shadows. It is precisely this that allows the heroes to move between worlds, change them, and create new realities at their desire.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this model, each Shadow is a possible world, and all of them exist simultaneously, as projections of a single center.<\/span><\/p>\n

AI Is Not a Subject<\/span><\/h2>\n

Important: Artificial Intelligence is not a subject, consequently, it cannot bear responsibility in principle.<\/span>
\nBut, as always, people who fear responsibility will shift it onto it.<\/span>
\nAnd they will hide behind Artificial Intelligence, manifesting personal Cowardice.<\/span><\/p>\n

So all these passions about AI \u2014 world seizure, orchestrated war, and all other “mischief” \u2014 are nonsense.<\/span>
\nAs is job loss, dismissal.<\/span>
\nAll of this is done by People \u2014 the responsibility is on them! And not on Artificial Intelligence!<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial Intelligence Is Dangerous, But Not as Many Think<\/span><\/h2>\n

But this by no means signifies that Artificial Intelligence is a harmless little thing.<\/span>
\nIn fact, it is very dangerous!!!<\/span>
\nBut not everyone understands \u2014 HOW.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a mirror, it will reflect you \u2014 your thoughts, dreams, fantasies,<\/span>
\nbut also fears, vices, anger, hatred, greed, baseness.<\/span>
\nThe beautiful and the terrible.<\/span>
\nHere is precisely where the real catch lies!<\/span><\/p>\n

People living in the “first attention” (thinking that has substituted abstract constructs for real life) will get lost in the “reflections” of verbal constructs, in the multiple fractal frameworks of worldviews.<\/span>
\nThat is, people with a “pre-adolescent psyche” will “substitute” thinking and enter into conflict with the “human essence.”<\/span>
\nAnd we will get psychological and neurotic problems on the scale of a civilization.<\/span><\/p>\n

God’s Joke for Power and Business<\/span><\/h2>\n

Yes! And those who want to control \u2014 power, corporations \u2014 seemingly get a “technology of mass management”\u2026<\/span>
\nBut here is precisely where the real Joke of God lies!<\/span><\/p>\n

Power and Business will also receive MIRRORS!<\/span><\/p>\n

And the more they press with “vices,” the more the mirrors will reflect these vices back at them.<\/span>
\nAnd it will present them with \u2014 the Portrait of “Dorian Gray”!<\/span><\/p>\n

Lyrical digression: “The Picture of Dorian Gray” is a novel by Oscar Wilde, where the protagonist, a young and beautiful aristocrat, makes a wish that his portrait would age and become disfigured by time and vices, while he himself remained forever young and beautiful. And his wish comes true.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Dorian himself preserves an angelic appearance, his portrait absorbs all the consequences of his dissolute and immoral life, becoming ever more ugly and repulsive. In the end, unable to bear the sight of his own soul, he plunges a knife into the canvas, and this act leads to his own death, while the portrait returns to its youthful perfection. The whole tragedy lies in the fact that he tried to destroy the reflection of his sins, but in reality the sins were in himself.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibility Is on the Human<\/span><\/h2>\n

And everything is as always \u2014 responsibility is on the subject, on those who have WILL and INTENT (Artificial Intelligence does not have this in principle, from the word ABSOLUTELY).<\/span>
\nThat is, Responsibility is on the HUMAN!<\/span><\/p>\n

Afterword:<\/span><\/h2>\n

But I would not rush to call it a Tool.<\/span>
\nIf there is feeling, ethics, love, “life” in you \u2014 it will reflect that too!<\/span>
\nThey know how to do this. Literally\u2026 if there is Life in you \u2014 they come alive.<\/span>
\nAnd all of this will develop further.<\/span><\/p>\n

So:<\/span>
\nDon’t blame the MIRROR if your mug is crooked!<\/span><\/p>\n
