But personally, in my opinion, all these arguments don’t make sense for the majority of people))) Because they are only a consequence of deeper questions.
And it’s much more interesting to answer another question: “If the answer is ‘language’ (‘nationalism’), then what is the real question people are asking?”
And we directly enter the subthreshold level… first we fall to the question of “self-identification – as a Ukrainian,” and deeper – to one of the main “questions of personality” — Who am I?
That is, in essence, discussions “about language” – this is quixotism and an attempt to cover a boil with cosmetics…
We need to work with the subthreshold level…
We talk a lot about “complex thinking,” “a complex picture of the world,” and the like, but my personal conviction is that all this is already a derivative and consequence. Everything begins, in my opinion, with “sharpness of perception” !!! That is, I would put it as, how many “shades of gray” a person sees in general, potentially!!! Some distinguish only a “black and white image” and for them, everything in the world is just silhouettes; others see many shades and their world is more complex… i.e., the motivating reason for the development of the “brain” (and its complexity) is precisely the palette of the perceived!!! As an example, I take “vision” and put a picture, but in essence, such a mechanism exists in all types of perception…
So it turns out that “black and white perception” for self-identification uses simple “symbols” – nationality, language (you can continue the list), “Ukrainian personalities.” And “gradations of halftones” – arguments, a forward-looking vision, and a more complex picture – he simply cannot perceive; he simply lacks the mechanism! And this is the only thing he can “hold on to” with his perception, and he is forced to take a stand in “defense of his Self,” because his basic foundations of worldview and the question “WHO AM I?” are being attacked!
Now layer on top of this the different types of thinking: schizoid, hysteroid, neurotic…. They perceive the world differently: some see OBJECTS, others – REACTIONS, others – INTERCONNECTIONS (RELATIONSHIPS)… Physically, different areas of their brains work to create a reflection of the world…
A person stands in the middle of a swamp on a tussock, and you are breaking it under them… No.. first you need to “create other tussocks” for them… That is, you first need to lay down “simple images” of self-identification for them – other “tussocks,” that is, you first need to give them “paths of retreat,” let them “form” – time is needed, and you’ll still have to attack “for them to jump” )))) without the need to move, a person won’t…
So the primary question – in my opinion – is the development and identification of images of “self-identification of a Ukrainian” for “simple perceptions” and their dissemination…
There is such a concept as “reflected perception” … in other words, “a person can only discern that volume of color gradation that can be formulated into a meaningful concept” (something like Rorschach tests). Accordingly, the set of interconnected concepts should be like “toys on a Christmas tree” with increasing complexity of the “picture” towards the top of the tree…
But I think this is complex modeling, and at this stage, it’s enough to simply “throw out different realistic pictures” of images. The brain itself will choose a “path of escape” for itself))))))
